This month’s ‘Veganuary’ is seeing more people than ever opting to take up a plant-based diet for a variety of reasons. There are well over 1/2 million vegans in the UK today and according to research by The Vegan Society, it is now one of Britain’s “fastest growing lifestyle movements”.
Firstly, if you’re here then congratulations. This is your first step in choosing a healthier and kinder lifestyle. Becoming a vegan can feel like a scary step, I mean, you’re so used to eating meat, eggs and dairy several times a day that you start to wonder exactly what you’ll eat, how you’ll cope and where your protein will come from…but don’t threat, just read on.
I tried packing meat and dairy in last year and for the most part, did pretty well. Soon, however, I crumbled like the weak, impossible, human fool I am and planted my face into something made of animal flesh. I Failed at Veganism. I’m ashamed of the failure, felt guilty about my choices and earlier this year I was determined that my second attempt would be successful. Now I’m OWNING this thaaaaang!
